The new 8,864 square foot building, which was designed by Studio 2 LR Architects + Planners, includes about 1,250 square feet of space that is available for lease. The design of the new building is the first to be constructed under the new zoning procedures for the Lady’s Island Village Center.
“One unique feature of the new office is a covered arbor that connects to the building,” said Chris DeVoter, project manager, NAI Avant. “For the convenience of the public, this breezeway provides protection from the rain and shade from the summer sun, plus it is illuminated at night for added security.”
"We designed the building based on the requirements of the Lady's Island Community Preservation Area, while also meeting the needs of the bank," said Wes Lyles, president, Studio 2LR. "Materials were selected and colors chosen in an effort to enhance the local community aesthetic and maintain the character of the low country."
