Spartanburg Office Donates Computers to a Local Nonprofit
(SPARTANBURG, SC – March 5, 2013) South Carolina Bank and Trust (SCBT) announced that its Spartanburg office has donated two computers to a local nonprofit.
“SCBT is proud to partner with area nonprofits. We look forward to many years in Spartanburg, and feel it is important to do everything we can to foster economic growth and a sense of pride within our community” said Kelly Harvey, commercial loan assistant at SCBT.
The receiving organization is College Hub, a Spartanburg-based nonprofit, dedicated to leading and supporting educational achievement at all ages. The computers will be used to assist College Hub in reaching out to students and help them complete college applications and apply for financial aid.
“As a nonprofit, we are always grateful for the support from our community businesses. When groups donate items like computers, it helps us ensure that the money we raise goes straight to the students who need it,” said College Hub Executive Director Carrie Priddy.
