Jonathan Walker Joins SCBT

Jonathan Walker has joined the staff of South Carolina Bank and Trust as assistant vice president and branch manager of the Spartanburg office.

Jonathan WalkerA Spartanburg native, Walker comes to SCBT with eight years of banking experience in the Spartanburg market. He earned his undergraduate degree in business from the University of South Carolina-Upstate, and his MBA from Gardner-Webb University. He will graduate this summer from the South Carolina Bankers School at Lander University.

Active in civic, church, and professional organizations, Walker currently serves as secretary-treasurer and board member of Piedmont Care, Inc. He is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where he serves as co-commissioner of the city basketball league. He also volunteers with both the Soup Kitchen and Junior Achievement.
