Floyd Named Vice President

South Carolina Bank and Trust announced that Jo Etta Floyd has been promoted to vice president.

Floyd joined SCBT in 1998 and since then has worked in various positions including financial services representative and assistant branch manager. She currently serves as branch manager for SCBT Lake City office, a position she has held since 2004.

A native of Georgetown, SC, Floyd is a graduate of Lake City High School and also attended Spartanburg Methodist College.

Floyd is an active member of the community and is a member of Lake City Rotary Club. She has also served on the board of Lake City Chamber of Commerce and on the board of Lake City Habitat for Humanity. In 2008, Floyd was named the Greater Lake City Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year.

Floyd and her husband of 36 years, Tarrell A. Floyd, have one daughter, one son, and two granddaughters. The Floyds are active members of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake City.
